Resource Conservation Districts are here to "fill in the gaps" between public and private, local and state and federal, non-profit and business organizations....all to protect our soil, water and natural diversity. The Butte County Resource Conservation District works with private landowners, non-government organizations, and government agencies to implement conservation projects throughout Butte County. We have no discretionary budget; all our programs are either funded through grants (i.e., state, Federal, or foundation grants) or contracts (i.e., fee-for-service work).
